JRC GMO-Amplicons databases

The nt database is a collection of nucleotide sequences from several sources maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The nrnl1 database is a non-redundant patent nucleotide database developed by the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI, last release Jan 2013). The emblrelpat and the emblreltgn databases respectively contain the patent data class division and the transgenic data class division of the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) maintained by EMBL-EBI. For the patented sequences, we provide links to espacenet, which is a comprehensive and updated collection of patents managed by the European Patent Office, and to lens, which provides additional functionalities, such as the download of patented sequences in FASTA format.
