GMOMETHODS

GMOMETHODS provides information on EU reference methods for GMO Analysis that have been validated according to the principles and requirements of international standards. Data is retrieved from peer-reviewed journals and final reports of collaborative studies.

Disclaimer

This EU Database of Reference Methods for GMO Analysis has been developed by the Joint Research Centre as European Union Reference Laboratory for GM Food and Feed (EU-RL GMFF), in collaboration with the European Network of GMO Laboratories (ENGL).

It aims at providing a list of reference methods for GMO analysis that have been:

  • validated in a collaborative trial, according to the principles and requirements of ISO 5725 and/or IUPAC protocol

or

  • verified by the EURL GMFF in the context of compliance with a EU legislative act.

All efforts have been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate and correct but no responsibility can be taken for the data and information reported in the GMOMETHODS database and the related PDF Summary.

The JRC does not own any Intellectual Property on the data and information reported in the method validation publication. Such data and information are owned by the method developers. Some legal provisions on confidentiality and data protection are provided in article 30 and article 31 respectively of Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003.
