Training Courses

TrainingThe European Commission, in collaboration with the WHO and with other institutions, has conducted since 2000 a series of training courses on the analysis of food and feed samples for the presence of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). The scope is to provide to laboratory staff with the analytical biotechnology skills required in GMO testing, to help control laboratories to properly implement facilities and expertise, and to promote the use of validated and harmonised methods for detecting, identifying and quantifying GMOs.
